ISOLATION

That instant when your child gets hurt and you’re not there in that moment is heartbreaking. We all acknowledge it’s part of the “struggle” of growing up but as parents we wish we could be there. The depth of that emotion for both a child and their parents is what I was hoping to capture here.

Hearing cries and tears from a room in your house is always a cause for concern, but is definitely commonplace in most families’ households. It does, however, set up the magical thing that happens next…
