CULMINATION

All that remains is a vision of the future. Where does Zoe see herself when she’s “all grown up”? Well a teenager of course! That is the pinnacle of adulthood is it not?

Here, at the end of the book we see Zoe and her classmates, projections of their teenage selves, wondering what life will be like when their powers show up. My hope here is to inspire some imagination and conversation among young readers while also empowering parents with a tool for encouraging patience and development in their kids.

Who knows what will come of all this but it’s been a JOURNEY. I look forward to seeing how the book is received but again I’m just really happy to have had the courage to pursue the project, despite uncertain times. I hope you too will lean into your passions and add something to the world. As someone who’s about to do it, it’s already been incredibly rewarding…
