Pages 3/4

PERSPECTIVE

A number of interesting things play out over the course of the book. You’ll notice from Pages 1/2 that Zoe’s perspective of her parents is often more grandiose than the reality, something revealed on this two-page spread. I hope that the parents among you can relate to this sentiment!

The mind of a child is a thing of wonder and I really wanted to capture some of that magic in this book by blurring the lines between Zoe’s perspective and reality. My intention with these pages is to use a well-established setting, like Career Day, but turn it on it’s head in a fun way to better introduce some details about the parents, while also suspending disbelief about their “superness”!

On a side note there are some Easter Eggs about diversity on these pages. Bonus point to anyone who finds it!

Super Introspective,
